I think this is the first time I've ever hiked way out into the Wonderland
looking for a particular crag, and actually found it without getting
completely lost for at least a little while. This route was quite fun,
although for such a nice-looking crack, I was disappointed at how little
jamming was really necessary, and how easy the climbing was overall. There
were lots of jugs on the outside of the crack. I think the crux was actually
the first section of the second pitch (slab), but there was one part of the
crack that may have qualified as a crux. Overall, an excellent route, though.
Thuy had no difficulty following it, but was a little freaked out by how much
I had run it out on the second pitch. There's only one bolt on that whole
pitch, because after that the climbing becomes trivial. Also, I think it would
be possible to do this in one long pitch with a 60-meter rope, although you'd
have no anchor save your arse at the top. With a 70-meter rope, it could be
done easily.
