Since the last climb brought us up to the upper right end of Mel's Diner, we
decided to do this climb, since we had seen it from the ground and it looked
kind of nice. Of course, once we were up there, it didn't look as nice, and I
wasn't quite sure how it finished, but we decided to do it anyway. This was a
nice climb, albeit slightly odd. The crux was probably just figuring out how
to finish it. I used two arêtes to climb up to where the original crack
ended, then moved left around a corner into a good hand crack. The gear was
good the whole way, but there was a lot of loose stuff up
there.
