This was a really nice climb. The first pitch took the splitter hand crack
pictured here up to a belay at a tree. The second pitch traversed left on
fairly easy but slightly runout slab to join up with The Hook, which we did as
our third pitch. This is a classic easy lieback up a sickle (hence the name)
followed by a slightly runout 5.8 slab traverse to the right, then up to the
chains. As I was new to LCC, Bobby graciously let me lead the first and last
pitches, the really classic ones. They were excellent.
