I went to J-Tree today with a bunch of friends from the UCLA Rock Wall, since
Aaron was out of town for the weekend. Most of them just went to boulder or
hike, or just relax, but of course I wanted to do some trad. I convinced Linda
to join me, and we spent most of the day hiking out into the Wonderland of
Rocks, trying to find the Bighorn Mating Grotto. Unfortunately, we never did
quite find it, so we just had time for one quick climb back at Hidden Valley
Campground before it got dark. Linda had never done Double Cross before, but
had heard a lot about it, so we decided to do that. We were also going to do
Geronimo, but it was a little too dark by the time we got up there.
