- Bootied: Friday, May 12, 2006
I bootied a pair of Superflies and a Mammut Dyneema sling from the second
pitch of Lost Arrow Spire. It was just clipped to a bolt! Who the hell left it
there? Their follower must not have know how to lower out properly. My
follower (Shanjean Lee) had essentially no aid climbing experience, and yet
she cleaned it with no problem. What a badass girl. Both biners are in perfect
condition. They couldn't have been up there for more than a day or two, or
someone else would have bootied them.
