I love the design of this pulley. It's the only pulley I've ever seen that can
be loaded and unloaded so easily (while attached to the achor), and it
has a far more elegant and simple-to-use brake than most other hauling pulleys.

I've been wanting one of these for years, but I haven't really needed
one yet, and I didn't want to pay so much for something I didn't really need
right now. So I've always been on the lookout for some kind of good deal on
this item, so I wouldn't have to pay full price... and it never happened.
Finally, I accumulated a few small REI gift cards, a year's dividend, and one
of their typical 20% off coupons, and managed to get this thing for less than
$60 of my own money. I think that's as good a deal as I'm ever going to get.
