One final telescope photo

After Aaron led and hauled pitch 30, I took off up the famous bolt ladder to the summit as quickly as I could. The bolts were all nice fat new bolts, so I felt completely secure on them, and only clipped the rope to every third or fourth one.

In this photo, Aaron and the pigs are visible at the very bottom. I am a few feet above them, working my way up the steep summit overhangs. The summit, and the famous “El Cap Tree” that marks the end of The Nose, are visible above.
