Floating pigs

Once he had finished pitch 28, Aaron started hauling. Since he had led around a big overhang, the pigs floated out away from the wall. Since pigs floating in space like this always look cool and a little eery, I took this photo of them.

Now it was Aaron's turn to tangle up the ropes while hauling. This tangle might have even been worse than on the previous pitch, and as a result, it took him a while to haul. This cost us a little time, but I wasn't too worried about it, as we were making decent time and had only three pitches remaining, all of which were relatively short and easy. But the screwup got Aaron a little frustrated.

In the photo, you might notice how the top of the main haul bag collapses a little now, as it's less full than before. The mini-pig underneath looks much less full. You can also see a bunch of empty water bottles hanging at the bottom, and a few “bottle rockets” hanging under the big pig. Aren't you glad I pointed that out?
