Me aiding up to Boot Flake, pitch 16

From the top of Texas Flake, I led the next pitch to the top of Boot Flake, a mysterious formation that appears to be suspended in space, defying gravity, with no apparent point of attachment to the wall. The beginning of the pitch was an easy bolt ladder (seen in this photo) across a completely blank wall to a thin crack just below the heel of the boot.
