This was a really nice crack, but quite short. The most fun part for me was
watching Peter follow it without jamming. He started out liebacking, and
promptly fell. Closer to the top of the crack, he used nothing but face holds,
and managed to get up it, but at a rating of about V3 or V4 instead of 5.8.
The scary thing is, he had actually done this one before, and had
“led” it. (Someone else had placed the first piece from the
ground. Peter placed one other piece right near the top, and apparently it was
crap. Good thing he didn't fall!)
