This was an outstanding route (the fourth in a day full of outstanding routes!) Apparently it's usually done as a single long pitch, but I decided to break it up into two. (I think this is the first entry in my climbing log where I did the climb in more pitches than the guidebooks list.) Anyway, the business is near the end, where the climb traverses left, underclinging a huge flake, then goes up the left side of that flake and takes a wonderful hand crack through a short bulge. It was a bit tricky, but actually turned out to be easier than it looked. I got a nice rest after the undercling traverse by doing a “butt jam” behind the flake. Worked like a charm!
