This was fun once again, and it was Shanjean's first real trad climbing
experience, and her first time climbing a fairly difficult crack, I think. She
handled it quite well. I think she had a little difficulty with the initial
5.8 crack sections on the first pitch, but she didn't fall. She cruised the
rest of that pitch, and she had no real difficulty with the slabs on the
second pitch. The slabs felt easier for me this time too. I guess I didn't
start them correctly the last time, so I did one move that felt really hard.
This time, I found the easier sequence.
